He’s the high school senior with a system for everything! The Chicken Chronicles is a hilarious hark back to the late 1960s, as a bunch of California high school kids face graduation in the era of absentee parents, drugs, sexual liberation and Vietnam. In the middle of it all is David Kessler (Steve Guttenberg, Police Academy, The Bedroom Window), who is desperately trying to make out in the permissive society. He’s torn between the All-American beauty Margaret (Lisa Reeves, The Pom Pom Girls) and the worldlier Tracy (Meridith Baer, Private Lessons), while watching his younger brother make it all look so easy. On top of all this, with the senior prom looming, he starts having problems with his school principal and his boss at the chicken take-out. Written by Paul Diamond (TV’s Knight Rider and Miami Vice) and directed by Frank Simon (The Queen), The Chicken Chronicles is a high-spirited comedy co-starring Phil Silvers (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Ed Lauter (Youngblood), Branscombe Richmond (Hard to Kill), Clark Brandon (My Tutor) and Jon Gries (Real Genius).
